Model A
- You do not have your own 501(c)(3) status
- You want the fiscal sponsor to handle accounting, donations, compliance
- You want the sponsor to sign contracts and manage grants
- You want to operate as a program of the sponsor
- You’ll fundraise under the sponsor’s name
Model C
- You already have 501(c)(3) status
- You’ll handle your own accounting, compliance, and administration
- You’ll sign your own contracts and manage your own grants
- You want to remain a separate legal entity with a board of directors
- You’ll fundraise under your own name
Once the form is submitted, you’ll hear back regarding your approval status within 30 days.
