Our process
Whether you’re pursuing 501(c)(3) status, applying for a grant, or embarking on a joint project, there is a path forward.
Application: Take the first step
To take the first step, fill out a partnership application (which you can find here). Be prepared to provide information such as:
- Your mission statement
- Your board of directors or advisory board members
- Your fundraising goals and budget
After that, we’ll let you know if you’ve been approved within 30 days.
Onboarding: Lay the groundwork
Once your application is approved, we’ll set up an initial visit to gain a deeper understanding of your mission, answer your questions, and ensure you feel supported from the start.
You’ll also receive:
- An information packet detailing the ins and outs of fiscal sponsorship
- Your partnership agreement, which will officially begin our partnership once signed
With clear expectations and a trusted relationship in place, you’ll be set up for smooth sailing.
Partnership: Bridge the gap
Now, it’s time to put your philanthropy into action. With the details settled, you’ll have everything you need to overcome the funding barriers standing in your way.
Here’s what you can expect from our partnership:
- Mutual visibility: You’ll provide regular reports on the status of your work, and we’ll provide regular account reports.
- A close eye: We pay attention to your accounts and help you keep your finances in order.
- Access to your funds: Whether it’s donations or grant funding, you’ll have access to the funds you need, as outlined in your agreement.
The result: Leave your mark
With access to the funding you need, you’ll be unleashed to focus on your mission and make the impact you envision.
We’ll stay by your side until you’ve outgrown our usefulness to you.
